Right now in America, there is more pending legislation, there are more questions being raised and more steps being taken with regard to gay rights than ever before.  States, townships, judges and lawmakers all over the country are debating gay marriage, civil unions, GLBTQ adoption rights and more. 

At times, it feels overwhelming to find a way to get involved.  And quite often, it feels like a battleground as GLBTQ rights are used as a wedge issue by the conservatives.

But we see this time and this place instead as a valuable opportunity.

Same Love, Same Rights® was created so that individuals at the grass-roots level will have a centralized location to share and review information, motivate and inspire one another and brainstorm new action steps.  More than that, it serves as a launching pad for creating real change across the United States.  Members will have the tools to band together and take vital steps, both on a local and a national level, that will bring equal rights in marriage incrementally closer.  Petitions, the national Commitment Photo Album™, Summit meetings, mailing campaigns, marches all of these and more can be organized, implemented & executed by you in your hometown for free.
