HAPPY PRIDE, Everyone!!

2009 marks a tumultuous year for the LGBT minority, in terms of our access to equal marriage and family rights. It also presents an excellent opportunity for all of us to rally together in promoting our singular vision for a future in which our community is provided fair treatment under the law. ...And what better way to honor the roots of Pride?!

I'd love to read your replies to this thread... concerning your experiences at Pride this year, your thoughts about how the tone of your Pride turns out to be (is it more activist, or more of a party atmosphere...) and what the theme of your city's Pride is for 2009.
